āmhīṃ akāḷu jo pāṃḍavā |
mhaṇitalā to hā jāṇāvā |
āṇi hāci dhūmramārgu gāṃvā |
punarāvṛttīciyā ||

What we called the inauspicious time, / O son of Pāṇḍu, should be understood as this; / and this very path is the smoky path / leading to the village of rebirth.
