śuklakṛṣṇe gatī hy ete jagataḥ śāśvate mate
ekayā yāty anāvṛttim anyayāvartate punaḥ
aisiyā anādi yā donhī vāṭā |
ekī ujū ekī avhāṃṭā |
mhaṇaūni buddhipūrvaka subhaṭā |
dāviliyā tuja ||

These two paths are without beginning: / one is straight, and the other is a wrong way; / therefore deliberately, O good warrior, / they have been shown to you.
