Jñāneśvarī (commentary on the Bhagavadgītā) 8.27

8.27

yerī jīvābhāvāciye pālaviye |
kāṃhīṃ maryādāca karūṃ naye |
pāhije kavaṇa heṃ āghaveṃ viye |
taṃva mūḷa teṃ śūnya ||

There is no end at all / to this foliage of living states; / if one looks for who gives birth to all this, / its root is void.
