mhaṇe parisaṇeyāṃcayā rāyā |
āikeṃ bāpā dhanaṃjayā |
aisī jaḷoṃ saraliyā māyā |
tetha jāḷiteṃ teṃhī jaḷe ||
He said, “O king of listeners, / hear, dear Dhanaṃjaya! / When māyā is consumed in this manner, / then that which burns is also burnt.
