dekheṃ voḷaṃbā iṃgaḷu na care |
tejīṃ timira jetha na sare |
jeṃ dehāceṃ āṃdhāreṃ |
carmacakṣūsīṃ ||
Behold, as a live coal does not catch white ants, / as darkness does not disperse into light, / [so it is] darkness of the body / to the physical eye,
