taiseṃ mūrkhāṃceṃ tayāṃ jiyāleṃ |
āṇi dhik karma tayāṃce nipajaleṃ |
jaiseṃ sāṃvarā phaḷa āleṃ |
ghepe nā dīje ||
Even so is the life of those fools; / cursed is the action produced by them, / like the fruit borne by the silk-cotton tree, / which can neither be taken nor given.
