evaṃ thitiyā māteṃ cukale |
jihīṃ puṇyeṃ svarga kāmile |
tayā amarapaṇa teṃ vāvoṃ jāleṃ |
ātāṃ mṛtyuloku ||
Thus, having missed me, who was right there, / they desired heaven through their merit; / their immortality turned out to be hollow, / and now comes the world of mortals.
