9.416

āṇi ācaraṇa pāhatāṃ subhaṭā |
to duṣkṛtācā kīra sela vāṃṭā |
pari jīvita vecileṃ cohaṭāṃ |
bhaktīciyā kīṃ ||

And looking at his past conduct, O noble warrior, / he may indeed have had a large share of evil deeds; / but his life was expended / in the public square of devotion!
