paiṃ sūrya jo veḷu nudaije |
tayā veḷā kīṃ rātri mhaṇije |
tevīṃ mājhiye bhaktīviṇa jeṃ kīje |
teṃ mahāpāpa nohe ||
Indeed, as long as the sun has not risen, / that time is called night; / in the same way, is not whatever is done without devotion to Me / a great sin?
