Daughter of the king of the snowy mountains, giver of all wealth! / Great Goddess! Taking pity on the noble ones who praise you truly and daily in their hearts, / you grant most abundantly in this world freedom from disease, learning, wealth, grain, / beauty, fame, greatness, youth, wisdom, offspring, strength, / courage, longevity, victory, auspicious destiny, and enjoyment— / having bestowed the total sum of these sixteen blessings, you grant a life of blissful joy! / Possessor of virtuous qualities! Protectress! Benevolent One! / Trisūlī! Radiant with auspiciousness! / I am the child, you are the mother; can you not protect me? / O Vāmī who dwell in glory-flourishing Tirukkaṭavūr! Śubanemi! Pugazhnāmi! / Vāmī in whom Śivasāmi delights! O Apirāmi Umai!
