To establish a verse garland bearing the holy name of Kuṟṟālaliṅgar, / the supreme Lord praised throughout the earthly sphere: / the pair of red feet of Kandan of Centinakar, the companion of the elephant-faced god / adorned with rutting fluid flowing over garlanded tusks, is our protection.
