Lord Murugaṉ
When the twelve hands received the spear, when the eleven bore weapons,
while the worthy Nine Warriors in the ten directions praised,
sporting across the eight mountains and seven oceans,
bearing six golden diadems, tossing [their foes] aside like five heads,
the unique one with four-times-three shoulders who grants his two feet
has bestowed this Tamil Tirukkuṟṟālak Kuṟavañci.
