Two men of ours travelled to him and had the good fortune to be received by him; he bestowed favours on them, honoured them with robes of honour and granted them abundant wealth, though they were among the insignificant of our Arabs. Then he gave them the choice of staying or returning. One of them chose to stay, so he gave him a splendid town, ample wealth and many livestock of sheep and cattle, and he is there now, filled with plenty. As for the other, he asked to return, so he bestowed on him three thousand gold tankas, and he returned showered with gifts and joyful.
