وولدها أشد الناس برورا بها، ومن بروره أنها سافرت معه مرة، فقدم السلطان قبلها بمدة فلما قدمت خرج لاستقبالها وترجل عن فرسه وقبل رجلها وهي في المحفة بمرأى من الناس أجمعين.

Her son is the most dutiful of men toward her. An instance of his devotion is that she once travelled with him, and the Sultan arrived some time before her; when she arrived he went out to meet her, dismounted from his horse and kissed her foot while she was in the litter, in full view of all the people.
