I thought about the man who had carried me on his neck, and I remembered what the friend of God Most High, Abū ʿAbd Allāh al-Murshidī, had told me, as we mentioned in the first volume, when he said to me: "You will enter the land of Hind and meet there my brother Dilshād, and he will rescue you from a hardship you will fall into." And I remembered what he said when I asked him his name, and he said,
