وشرایط شفقت ولوازم نصیحت بجای آرذ واورا دقایق علم وحکمت تعلیم وتلقین کنذ وبعدل وفضل محتظی ومتوفر گردانذ چنانک بامداد علم وحکمت مستعد سریر مملکت وسلطنت شوذ ، از بهر آنک باز سپیذ هرچند شایسته ودرخور بوذ تا رنج تعلیم وبیذاری نکشذ وبریاضت تأدیب وهذیب بیابذ جلاجل زرین بر پای او ببندید واز دست سلاطین مرکب او نسازید ، وهمچنین زر ونقره چون از معدن بیرون آیذ باکدورت کان ممتزج ومختلط باشذ2 تا در بوتهآ امتحان ننهند وبتقویت آتش غش وکدورت از وی جذا نگردانند خالص وصافی نشوذ ومستحق خلخال عروسان وتاج شاهان نگردذ :

executes the requirements of affection and the duties of good counsel, instructs and teaches him the subtleties of knowledge and wisdom,
and makes him rich and abundant in justice and virtue so that with the aid of knowledge and wisdom
he becomes worthy of the throne of dominion and sovereignty—for a white falcon, however worthy
and suited it may be, until it endures the hardship of training and sleeplessness and receives the discipline of instruction and refinement,
they will not tie golden bells to its feet nor make it a mount for monarchs' hands. Likewise,
when gold and silver emerge from the mine, they are mixed and mingled with the dross of the quarry;
until they place it in the crucibles of trial and separate from it the alloy and impurity through the power of fire,
it does not become pure and refined, and does not deserve the anklet of brides or the crown of kings:
