بگشای چو گل وعدهآ راست دهنور بی زتو چون لاله درم پیرآهن دعوی دلست با نوأم بانگ مزنآنک در حکم عشق واینک بو ومن مدتها است تا کمند مشکین بو ، دل مسکین مرا بسلسلهٔ‌ قهر وزنجیر زجر بستست ، ومرغ جان مرا بدانهآ حمال خوذ صید کرده ؛ وامروز کی روز گار بی انصاف این دولت میسر گردانیذ ، واین سعادت جمال موذ ، دست معاهدت در دست من ه ، کی چون این ملک ودولت ، وتاج وسلطنت بتو سپارم ، وخدم وحشم را در ربقهآ مطاوعت وانقیاد بو آرم ، نذور وعهود وشروط وحقوق

Open like a rose that mouth true to its promise; / otherwise, because of you, I tear my robe like a tulip.
It is the heart's claim I have upon you; do not cry out! / There stands the decree of love, and here are you and I.
