نوانگری وجوانی وعشق وبوی بهار شراب وسبزه وآب روان وروی نگار دو چیز را بدو هنگام لذتی دگرست سماع را بصبوح وصبوح را ببهار خوش است خاصه کسی را کی بشنوذ بصبوح زچنگ زخمهآ زیر وزعود نالهآ زار شراب خواه و دگر باره عشرت از سر گیر کی باغ تاز گی از سر گرفت دیگر بار گرفت لاله بصذ مهر سبزه را در بر گرفت سبزه بصذ ناز لاله را بکنار شاه پسررا دستوری داذ ، ودستور خویش را در صحبت وخدمت او نفرستاذ ، تا مراقبت او بمایذ ، ومحافظت حانب عزیز اورا بواجبی رعایت کنذ . زبان ایام بتعجب میگفت :

Wealth, youth, love, and the scent of spring, / wine, verdure, flowing water, and the beloved’s face—
Two things bring a different pleasure at two times: / music at morning wine, and morning wine in spring.
Delightful it is, especially for one who hears at the morning cup / the plucking of treble strings from the harp and plaintive notes from the lute.
Call for wine and resume merrymaking afresh, / for the garden has taken on its freshness once again.
With a hundred affections the tulip embraced the greenery; / with a hundred coquetries the greenery took the tulip to its side.
The shah gave permission to his son, and sent his vizier along to accompany and serve him,
so that he might watch over him and properly attend to safeguarding his precious side.
