266.1

فان الجرح ینفر بعد حین اذا کان البناء علی فساد (2/2) واومیذ بنده بفضل پاذشاه آنست کی با دستوران خویش همان کنذ کی آن پاذشاه کرد ، تا داذ انصاف وانتصاف ، بر قضیت عدل وعفاف فرموذه باشذ ؛ واگر شاه داذ من ندهذ ، حق تعالی ظلم روا ندارذ : قوله تعالی :

“For the wound breaks open after a time, / when the building is built upon corruption.”
“And this servant’s hope from the king’s favor is that he will do with his viziers just as
that king did, so that he may administer justice and redress according to the requirement of justice and chastity;
and if the king does not grant me justice, God Almighty will not tolerate injustice, as He Almighty says:
