ومرضعهٔ‌ی مشفق ، وقالهآی حاذق آورده بوذ، تا طفل رضیع را کی رشک گل ربیع بوذ، چون صا تربیت می داذ، وچون نسیم شمال دا یگی می کرد؛ واو وصال پسر از فراق ماذر عوض وبدل می شمرد ، کی من منع من الاثر قنع بالخبر ، ودر فراق امانی ، وتلخی زندگانی می گفت :

He had brought a compassionate wet-nurse and a skillful nanny to nurture the suckling infant, who was the envy of the spring rose,
like the morning breeze, and to tend him like the northern breeze;
and he counted union with the son as compensation and substitute for separation from the mother, for 'whoever is barred from the trace is content with the report.' And in the absence of hopes and the bitterness of life, he would say:
