الدهر خداعة خلوب وصفوه بالقذی مشوب واکثر الناس فاعتزلهم قوالب ما لها قلوب فلا یغرتک اللیالی وبرقها الخلب الکذوب چون زن در حمال مشهور بوذ ، ودر افواه والسنه مذکور ، عاشقان جمال او طالبان وصال او گشتند، وهر یک بقدر مکنت ، وحسب استطاعت ، بدولت وصال ، وسعادت جمال او تقربی بموذ ، وگفت :

"Time is deceitful and alluring, / and its clarity is sullied with dross.
Most people—shun them— / are mere moulds without hearts.
So let not the nights deceive you, / nor their deceptive, lying lightning!"
Since the woman was famed for beauty and celebrated on every tongue, those who loved
