پس بوتاق خویش رفت ، وشرح حادته با زن خوذ بگفت . زن در وقت خویشتن را بر آراست ، وچنانک معشوقهٔ‌ مسرور ، بیزدیک عاشق مهحور در آمذ . شاه زاذه چون شکل وهیأت ، وخلقت وصورت او بدید ، ولطف محاورت ، وحسن مفاوضت او بشنیذ ، وآن اجزای متناسب ، واعضای متقارب مشاهده کرد ، رغبتی صادق ، وشهوی تمام، در وی ظاهر شذ؛ 5

So he went to his room and related the matter to his wife. At once the woman
adorned herself and entered, just as a delighted beloved goes in to a pining lover.
When the prince beheld her form, appearance, figure, and face, and heard the charm
of her conversation and the elegance of her discourse, and observed those well-proportioned features and harmonious
limbs, a genuine desire and complete lust appeared within him.
