إن ریا إن ریا احدثت فی الظرف شتا تفت منها وقالت المهیا المها (2/10) این حکایت از بهر آن گفتم تا شاه بر قول وفعل زنان ثقت واعتماد ننمایذ ؛ وعهد ومیثاق ایشانرا نفاق وشقاق دانذ؛ واگر احازت یابم از طلمسات ونیرنحات ایشان حکایتی بگویم . شاه فرموذ : بگوی :

Rayyā, indeed Rayyā, has innovated an affair in subtlety; / she puffed at it and said: 'Make ready, O oryx!'
'I have told this story so that the king might not put trust and confidence in the word and deed of women,
and know their covenant and pledge to be hypocrisy and dissension. If I am granted leave,
I will tell a story of their talismans and sorceries.' The king said: 'Speak!'
