جوان با جگری کباب ، وچشمی پرآب بوثاق باز آمذ ؛ شی چون شب مارگزیذ گان ، وحالتی چون حالت ماتمرسیذ گان ؛ ه وجه قرار ، ونه امکان فرار ؛ این غزل تکرار می کرد :
The youth returned to his lodging with a roasted liver and weeping eyes: a night like the night
of those bitten by serpents, and a state like the state of the bereaved; neither any means of rest, nor
any possibility of flight. He kept repeating this ghazal:
