15 داستان عاشق وگنده پیر وسک گریان ووز وشب می گریست ، ودر رنج ومحنت می زیست ؛ ودختر بحکم نظام اسباب کامرانی ، واستظهار جمال وجوانی ، طریق بیداذ بر دست گرفت ، وراه هور وتحتر بش آورد . دختر در پرده چون گل رعنا از سر طنز بر جوان می خندید ، وجوان همه روز دراز ، از سر نیاز می گریست ، واین بیت می گفت :

wept day and night, and lived in torment and affliction; but the maiden, by reason of having all the means
of pleasure and relying upon her beauty and youth, adopted the way of cruelty
and took the path of tyranny and disdain. The maiden, behind the curtain like a lovely rose, laughed mockingly
at the young man, while the young man wept in entreaty all the long day,
and recited this verse:
