شاذ شو ای منهزم در مدد نوجمله تأسد ونصرت وظفر آمذ خیز تا بطالع سعد ، وفال فرخنده ، بنزدیک حکیم رویم . پس بر میعادی کی نهاذه بوذ ، بخانهآ جوان آمذید ، وزمانی غم وشاذی گفتند ، وبساط مباسطت بگستردند ، وحجاب محانبت از میان برداشتند . وچون ساعتی بیرآمذ ، گنده پیر ببهانه از خانه بیرون آمذ ، وهر دو را در خانه بسلوت وخلوت بکذاشت . آن روز هر دو تا شانگاه بمعاشرت ومباشرت مشغول بوذند ، وبا یکدیگر بفراغت ورفاهت بیاسوذند ، ونصیب لذت ومتع برداشت ؛ وشبانگاه کی سیمرغر مشرق بنشیمن مغرب رسیذ ، زن بخانه تحویل کرد . جوان از پیرزن عذرها خواست، وکرمها کرد ، وگفت : ای ماذر ، مرا غریق انعام ، ورهین اکرام خوذ گردانیذی ، وشرایط اشفاق بر لوازم کرم الحاق کردی ، واکنون یک التماس دیگر باقی است؛ اگر باجابت مقرون گردذ ، این منت طراز منتهای گذشته شوذ . پیرزن گفت :

“Rejoice, O defeated one, for in the reinforcements of fortune / all support, aid, and victory have arrived!
Arise, so that under an auspicious ascendant and a blessed omen we may go to the sage.” Then, according to
the appointed time she had set, they came to the young man's house, and for a time they spoke of sorrow and joy,
spread the carpet of intimacy, and removed the veil of estrangement between them. And when an hour
had passed, the old crone left the house on an excuse, leaving them both in the house in ease
and privacy. That day until evening both were engaged in companionship and intimacy,
rested together in leisure and comfort, and took their share of pleasure and enjoyment.
