بامداذ بدر دکان بزاز حاضر شو ، وچون من نیایم، گوی : حامه چه کردی ، وحال چیست ؛ روز دیگر برین میعاد هردو بدر دکان بزاز حاضر شذید . جوان گفت : ای ماذر ، حامه کی بتو داذم رسانیذی ، ودل من فارغ گردانیذی ؟ گنده پیر گفت : حامه قبول نکرد ، وبمن باز داذ ، من حامه 6 برگرفتم ، وبخانهآ خواجه بزاز آوردم ، چون خواجه بخانه نبوذ، حامه هم آنحا رها کردم ، تا بها باز رسانذ . مرد بزاز چون سخن برین منوال شنیذ ، وآثار خطائی کی رفته بوذ، بر صفحات احوال بدیذ ، برارتکابی کی کرده بوذ ، واقدامی کی بموذه ، پشیمانی ظاهر گردانیذ ، وخوذ را ملامتها کرد ، وگفت :

and brought it to Khwāja Draper’s house; since the khwāja was not at home, I left the garment right there
so that he might deliver the price.” When the draper heard the speech in this manner, and saw the signs
of the error that had occurred upon the pages of circumstances, he showed remorse for the transgression he had committed
and the action he had taken, blamed himself severely, and said:
