کاریست چو خط او معما حالیست چو زلف او مشوش دیذه همه بر خیال معشوق سینه همه بر شرار آتش

The matter is an enigma like his downy hair; / the condition is dishevelled like his tress.
The eye is fixed wholly upon the image of the beloved; / the chest is filled wholly with sparks of fire.
