Dakshiṇottara-rathyāṁ tat tat saṁkhyā yatheshṭakā।
Evaṁ vīthir dvi-pakshaṁ(-shā) syān madhya-rathyena(-ka)-pakshakam।
Tasya mūlāgrayo(r) deśe kshatra(? kshudro)-mānaṁ prakārayet।
Bāhya-vīthir dvi-pakshaṁ(-shā) syāt tad-bahiś chāvṛitaṁ budhaiḥ। (M. IX. 350-353).
