An effective scene of about the sixteenth century represents Sītā in the aśoka grove with a female drummer fallen asleep, and Hanumān bending down from the top of the tree to deliver a ring in Sītā's hands. The plaque moulded according to the best traditions of late Bengal art (sixteenth century) is marked by classical realism and brevity of statement.
