A female head and bust from Rājghāt in typical Gupta style in the Bharat Kala Bhavan shows the original yellow paint still preserved on its surface. After the figurines were fired in the kiln, they were coated with a thin slip of Multānī-miṭṭī, which served as the base for the painter painting it with red or yellow colour and marking the ornaments and costume in coloured lines. Several groups of miniature figures of young drummers representing the mārdaṅgika type of Bāṇa also come from Rājghāt.
