Among independent deities are to be found Vajraśāradā, a specimen of which was discovered at Nālandā⁸, Sarasvatī, Aparājitā, etc. The subordination of the deities of the orthodox Hindu pantheon is to be found in the inclusion of Sarasvatī¹ and Gaṇapati² among the Sādhanas.
