Of Narēndra Simha’s palace at Kuṇḍasāle there remain in situ a few plain stone pillars and a stone with an elephant carved on it near the river. Two stones with elephants carved on them are now placed in Kandy at the entrance to the Daḷadā Māligāva, and there are also two stones in the Kandy Museum, with carvings of vases. Of these, one is figured in Cave’s ‘Book of Ceylon,’ Fig. 494.
