Other temples where good eighteenth century Kandyan painting is to be seen, include Doḍantale, Danagirigala, Laṅkātilaka (Pl. VIIA), Riḍi Vihāra, Gaṇēgoḍa (Pl. XV.), and many others. Almost all the painting at the Daḷadā Māligāva has been renewed in recent times, and although the designs are for the most part traditional, the colours are gaudy and varied to an intolerable degree. One of the few remaining good paintings (Pl. XVI.) has been restored and altered very recently.
