Opens by hinge at lowest part of the figure, screw fastening at opposite point, at commencement of chain. Chain, swivel and spoon particularly fine. Diameter of box 6 inches, thickness 1 inch. Interior divided into one large and four small compartments. Probably seventeenth century or older. Author's collection.
