Burnell, Ph.D., in his “Arshey-abrahmana” [Mangalore, 1876], and reprinted in Tagore’s “Hindu Music from Various Sources.” This explanation will enable anyone to note the Sâma Vedic chant, as printed in the Bibliotheca Indica edition, in ordinary notation.
