The story nº 28 (I, p. 101) represents the passage in question from the *Lieu tu tsi king*; the two other extracts will appear in vol. IV. Strictly one might connect with it the story nº 344, which also presents the characteristic trait of the gift of the tusks, but in quite different surroundings.
