I. — Archæological Survey photograph, supplied by Dr. J. Ph. VOGEL, who himself published it in the *B. É. F. E.-O.*, VIII, 1908, p. 488. The original, bought at Sahri-Bahlol, is at present to be found in the Peshawar Museum; it measures m. 0, 21 in height. The genius, curiously clothed with a tunic, a chlamys and leggings, holds a long sceptre and a purse; the fairy, whose head is unfortunately lost, rests her right hand on her husband's knee, and with the other holds up the horn of plenty. At the two corners of the plinth two gaping vessels pour out streams of gold coins.
