In the remaining part of the fort wall, the indications are available in the present state of its existence about the renovation of the works carried out by Kadambas. Hence it is not possible to ascertain the additions and alterations, if there be any, made by the Kadambas. Consequently no clear picture of the plan and the original constructional methods of the fort of the early Kadambas can be known.
