The top of the fort at the exterior edge is provided with 15 Kanguras or battlements (Fig.41) typical of Indo-Irmalic^Islamic style. (Please refer to the appendix in pp. 126 ). At relevant points of bastions shown in the plan, are crenellations for placing the guns, arms and ammunitions etc., to guard the citadel and particularly the gates I and II.
