On the western side, at the level of the foot of the fort wall on the left bank of the river Kagina, the foundation has been strengthened by providing horizontal offsets of boulders, since this part is directly hit constantly by the river water. This is a feature that is functionally necessitated in the case of ground forts located on the low lying lands generally flooded by overflowing river. In our survey of the forts, in the chronological order, this has been met with for the first time in this fort.
