The screen walls around the city were constructed by leading citizens and the bastions by some of the chieftains, under the Ādil Shāhis. Ali Burj (Illn.H.3) and Lānda Qasab Bastion (Illn.B.2) were constructed by Alikhan and Jānda qusabkhān.
