In the Dekkhan the few reliefs of the fifth century (Lāḍ Khān temple, Aihole)¹¹⁰ are neither in quality nor in quantity substantial enough to admit conclusions. In the sixth century, however, temples, images and rock-cut caves afford scope for truly aboriginal sculptures.
