The part reproduced here shows Bhūdevī behind Śrīdevī, the two wives of Viṣṇu, of whom the latter massages his foot, and also a Nāga, with a serpent coiled round his neck and standing in the attitude of an archer. Very high relief, partly severed from the ground (right arm of Nāga), a heaviness of form, a less differentiated modelling, a hardened and at the same time slackened outline, are features of the seventh century.
