Showing figure of a Deva with halo, two couples of flying Gandharvas, etc., and two crouching Gaṇas. The furrows carved into the vertical wall of the rock are meant to separate the stone boulders of the Himālayan mountains. They protect at the same time the figures on this otherwise unprotected vertical surface from being washed out by the torrents of the monsoon, as they divert them into ready-made channels.
