In spite of the apparent tumultuousness of this panel, with the strainedly exultant gestures of the two Nāgis with raised arms to either side of the altar, in spite of some other figures emerging from the ground into the light of day, with the darkness in between them and caught in the hoods of the cobras, etc., the uproar exhausts itself within the two surfaces of the relief and is organised symmetrically.
