²⁴ ‘Śatapatha Brāhmaṇa’, XI. 2. 3. 5. These indeed are the two great manifestations (yakṣye) of the Brahman (the Supreme Principle) . . . One of these two is the greater, namely, Form (rūpa) for whatever is Name (nāma), is indeed Form.
