The word ‘Vaśa’ which means ‘power’ might be taken to refer to “the lines which constitute the sides of rectangles bearing a square-root relationship with their ends.” Dynamic symmetry however does not seem to be implied in the indications quoted in note 60. See also the proportions and measures given in Part VII. Scarcely any accurate measurements have as yet been made of extant Śikharas.
