The rules are : The proportions of the trunk are the same in the 4 types; the distance from the root of the neck to the genitals is divided into 3 equal parts, in each case; neck—heart, heart—navel; navel—genitals; the thigh and the leg, throughout, are each twice as long. Of equal height, in each canon, are also neck, knee and foot. The actual lengths of these change; the face however remains the same, *i.e.*, 12 aṅgulas throughout, but for the Daśatāla.
