v2.c13.s1.71
There are 10 descriptions at least of the Sarvatobhadra in the various Śāstras. The ‘Viśvakarmaprakāśa’, VI. 88-89, and the ‘Matsya Purāṇa’ speak of its 16 sides (asra) and the large number of Śikharas. This laconic account suggests a central projection (bhadra) on each of the four sides, which would have three sections, each less wide than the preceding. The ‘Samarāṅgaṇasūtradhāra’ explicitly describes the central projection having such sections (SS. LVI. 131-32. LVII. 783-86).
